Desktop pets are friendly little virtual creatures that run around your desktop having fun, making mischief and maybe growing up before your very eyes. Shimeji,a kind of Desktop pets, is a small, animated chibi version of a character, which appears on the user's computer desktop, moves around, and is adorable. You can adopt a Black Lab, Poodle, also cats, a horse and hamster. You must visit each day to walk, groom and feed your pet. It is fully animated and includes lots of sounds. Fun and very cute!

Girb is a virtual pet! Girb is both useless and cute making Girb the perfect virtual pet.
Girb's sole purpose is to hop around your screen, talk to you in a language you cannot understand, and sometimes fall over (Girb is not very well coordinated).
Despite suffering from limited functionality, you can actually pick up Girb. Other than that, interaction is limited to cute noises... but this is enough. Cute noises are awesome.
