Go to the X-rite website, click Software Downloads and install the ColourMunki Display software version for your operating system. Once that's installed, open the program. Open the preferences. In the menu bar, ColorMunki Display Preferences. Have a look at the screenshot and make sure your settings match. I wish to calibrate my Dell UP2516D monitor with my MacBook Pro and ColorMunki Display. The software I received with the Dell monitor was Windows only, the software I managed to download and upgrade does not support ColorMunki Display, which is weird as I am sure I had a version of the Dell software before which did support the ColorMunki Display. The ColorMunki Display calibration system has now been discontinued and has been replaced by the i1Display Studio system. I have installed the software on my new PC/Mac and when trying to calibrate, the software just comes back with ‘Device not found’. Our software library provides a free download of ColorMunki Smile 1.0 for Mac. This free software for Mac OS X was originally developed by X-Rite, Incorporated. The current setup file available for download occupies 65.7 MB on disk. The most popular version among the application users is 1.0.

The ColorMunki Display calibration system has now been discontinued and has been replaced by the i1Display Studio system.

However, your older device can still be used with the new i1 Studio application. This gives full compatibility with the latest Macintosh Catalina (OS 10.15) and Windows operating systems and full backwards compatibility with the ColorMunki Display Hardware.
